Dear Mr Wigg,

Re: Plot number, Home type/name, Development name,  Southampton.

Please find enclosed copies of correspondence regarding defects to my new home that are self-explanatory. You will note that some of the defects in my new home have gone unresolved for a period of over three months.

I hope you find this as unacceptable as I do. Given your company’s high commercial profile, you will not want any adverse publicity concerning the standard and quality of the homes you build or the level of after sales service.

Obviously, as I have now considered it necessary to personally write to you I trust you will investigate the poor service of your southern regional office and take steps to ensure that the defects are fully rectified.

I need not remind you of your company’s obligations under the NHBC Buildmark warranty and trust that my next course of action, a claim to them, will not be necessary.

Please let me know by return what course of action you propose to resolve this situation.
